    Watches of QEII Archived Message

I currently have listed that HM QEII uses or used 10 watches –
    3 for day-wear and 7 evening watches.

    The 3 day watches are:
    1) a gold link banded, round faced watch and
    2) a black strapped watch with a square gold-trimmed face.
    3) Cartier’s “small” replacement from The French Republic

For evening I have complied 4 diamond, 1 pearl, 1 silver and 1 gold as follows:
    1) Diamond “ladder” banded with oval face (used most often)
    2) Jaeger LeCoultre 101 movement with diamond band (from 1953)
    3) Jaeger LeCoultre 101 movement with diamond band (from 2012)
    4) Diamond evening watch - a wedding gift from the Swiss Federal Republic
(presented to the Princess of Wales as a wedding gift in 1981)
    5) A 5 strand pearl band and fringe and diamond trimmed face
    6) Patek Philippe Ellipse with a silver band and diamond trimmed face
    7) A gold evening watch trimmed with diamonds

I also have a picture a HM wearing a watch similar to the daytime black strap as a young
girl which, I assume is different but have not included in the list above.

I do not think that The Queen wears the Cartier “small” watch anymore.

I don’t know if there are any confirmed sightings of the new Jaeger.

Does any one know of any other watches used by QEII??

    Thanks for your insight.

    Cheers !
    Bryce
