I completely agree with you, that is ehhh, since the last 5 days.... I'v never even considered to open a FB account, but I am currently involved in the restoration of an historical cemetery and from all sides I was advised to open an account in order to get the place publicized. I must admit, it works like a charm and posting photo's as well as text is extremely simple, much easier than updating a website and by 'befriending' people I reach just those people I need to reach.
--Previous Message-- : Nellie, one doesn't need a training to post : the information on FB, of course, you need : the proper information to post. It's the : platform which is very easy to manage and : one hasn't to learn/use a : content-managing-tool. : : I wholeheartedly agree with LittleMo about : today's use of FB (as I already wrote in my : post further up) and the benefit for : companies and organizations. I only can : encourage you to try and establish your own : FB account - you don't have to post personal : information/pictures etc. on FB. There are : ways to keep it very 'secret' . : : I for myself use it as a personal : 'information-channel' by having subscribed : different organisation's FB news, among : others the British Royal FB site, the : Norwegian Royal FB site, the Swedish etc. : It's very interesting... : : And concerning 'why they have to ask'... I : like it having the opportunity to tell my : wishes. It's great not only to get the bits : 'they' think they have to interest me, isn't : it? :
