Jorge you are so right, it would be wonderful that the Duchess had a saphire set. She already has her beautiful Ceylon saphire ring, she could be adding some nice earrings, a saphire brooch and perhaps a saphire pendant she could hang from the diamond necklace (I'm saying this because a full saphire necklace could be considered too ostentatious).
The same with a full emerald necklace... But if she wore the fabulous emerald corsage with the earrings and the diamond necklace it would look superb.
I am still waiting (eagerly) by that photo you say you have Jorge, because in my archives I have absolutely no record of Dona Isabel ever wearing the long emerald earrings nor the fantastic corsage . I would love seing it!!!

Perhaps she favours emeralds because her eyes are a shade of green (althought in pictures its hard to tell that).

She could also add some rubies to her collection, she already has her cabochon rubi engagement ring. She doesn´t wear it for a long time, most likely because she finds it to precious to wear in daily life.

As to number 15 (the long floral heritage earrings) in the first times Dona Isabel wore them they did really seem "dirty" and less glittering, but now I would say they look like real diamonds, but again we would need a good source (and perhaps see them glitter "live" ).
But again they could be made of "Minas Novas", now fresh clean and also glittering.
(Minas Novas is a jewelry terminology used in Portugal in the XIX th century to refer a type of quartz caming from Brazil. In Brazil it was referred to clear topaz stones).

: Thank you so much Cristina for your kind
: words and for adding more earrings. You are
    : right: it’s a quite large collection.
    :
    : The numbers 23, 25, 26 and 27 are completely
: new to me. From those (and without a good
: close-up picture) my favorites are the 25
: and the 27. The 25 (Diamond Chandelier
: earrings) is, actually a big surprise for
    : me.
    :
: As for the number 8 (Small emerald earrings
: ) I had the same doubts as you but the
: picture I had did not allowed me to take
: other conclusion than they are the same.
: However, looking closely at your pictures
: and comparing, I think you may be absolutely
: correct: they are two different pair of
    : emerald earring.
    :
    : So we have
    : 8.1 – Small round emerald earrings
    : 8.2 – Small rectangular emerald earrings
    :
: which make 3 pairs of emerald earrings in
: total. I think I’m hearing them clamming
    : for a necklace!
    :
: So the earrings number 15 (Long floral
: diamond earrings) are an heirloom from the
: Duchess’s family? I had no idea. But now I
: understand why D.Isabel use them so much:
: HRH tends to wear jewels with some kind of
: meaning for her. As they are antique
: jewelry, is it possible that they are made
: of ‘Minas Novas’ instead of diamonds?
: Nevertheless they were clearly cleaned: they
: have a much beautiful glitter nowadays.
: Your hypothesis on how they became the
: Duchess’s property seems correct to me.
    :
: About earrings 16, yes they seem to match
: the bottom part of 15. However the Royal
: Family does not appear to me to make major
: changes in their jewels. I may be wrong in
: this, of course. Another possibility is that
: they are in fact the bottom part of 15 but
: the last one was originally convertible into
    : a small version.
    :
: In what concern number 21, thanks for
: correcting me. They are modern, yet
    : beautiful.
    :
: But I’m sad about something: so many
: earrings and none with sapphires? Come on:
: Portugal’s colors are, since its foundation,
    : blue and white!
