    Thank you, Mauriz. Your suggestions are real improvements. Something is currently lacking at the top of the tiara. A mere collet diamond, or a small rosette to fill this "hole" would be perfet (not something too big).

    Nellie, I do not think the Koh-I-Noor could be adapted on this tiara, it would overwhelm the delicate pattern of the tiara. Queen Mary had once adapted the Cullinans III and IV on the tiara, and in my view, it was not a success...



    Personally, I prefer the altered version of the tiara rather than the original one. The removal of the top line of diamonds and the more "open" aspect of the top of the tiara give a more delicate look to the tiara, whereas the original version looked more "fence-like" to me. Just my very own personal and subjective taste and opinion, of course.
