I agree, Nellie, on both points.
The earrings look "forced" - a simpler design would have done very well - just the sapphires in an oval setting, matching the necklace (gold and diamonds), without the protruding antennae. The necklace and the quality of the sapphires is so overwhelming that matching the design in the earrings is simply superfluous. The bracelet is outright ghastly.
Would be nice to see Catherine in a white Grecian draped dress with her hair up and just this necklace, she would look amazing.
