A gorgeous dress, I agree. Mette-Marit has already worn it for Princess Madeleine of Sweden and Christopher O'Neill's wedding in 2013.
To remain focused on jewels, I always feel some disappointment that, alongside her nice and delicate (though not very impressive) daisy tiara, Mette-Marit almost never wears a necklace. She could borrow one of the small diamond rivieres from the Queen, or combine her daisy tiara with her amethyst set (whose tiara seems to be actually a necklace turned upside down), or with the nice "Vifte" tiara/necklace. Or she could even wear her tiara with a mere pearl necklace. But she almost never does. I have found only two occasions when she did (one with a three-row pearl necklace during the Estonian State visit in 2002, one with the Vifte tiara during the Bulgarian State visit in 2006, 4th and 6th picture on the group of pictures below). Otherwise, her large décolletés remain empty, which is a pity (it looks as if something is missing, jewellerywise).
