What about Princess Ragnhild's jewels? Archived Message

This State banquet makes me think about the jewels of the late Princess Ragnhild of Norway, Mrs Lorentzen (eldest sister of King Harald V and of Princess Astrid, Mrs Ferner). It was said that Queen Maud's diamond tiara, worn throughout her life by Princess Ragnhild, would revert to the main line of the Royal Family (i.e. to the King). Princess Ragnhild died two years ago (16th September 2012), but so far, we have still not seen the tiara again. Do you think we will see Queen Maud's diamond tiara again? How reliable is the information that the main royal jewels of the King's sisters should revert to him after their death? Trond Norén Isaksen's blog is very affirmative about this family agreement (he had personal talks with Princess Astrid, who explicitely told him that her turquoise and diamond parure and the Vasa tiara would go to the King after her death, but I do not know if he had similar talks with Princess Ragnhild): http://trondni.blogspot.fr/2012/10/royal-jewels-queen-mauds-grand-diamond.html I consider Trond Norén Isaksen to be a reliable source of information, but I am puzzled anyway by the fact that the tiara was still not seen, two years after Princess Ragnhild's death. --Previous Message-- : The President of India is currently making a : State visit to Norway - the first ever by an : Indian President. : : Yesterday, the traditional State banquet : took place at Oslo's Royal Palace. : : Nothing really new on the jewels' side : (Queen Sonja with the Leuchtenberg emeralds, : Crown Princess Mette-Marit with her usual : Daisy Tiara, Princess Astrid Mrs Ferner with : her Ruby Aigrette), but it is always a : pleasure to see Scandinavian pageantry! : : : : We can notice that Queen Sonja is wearing a : pearl bracelet with a rectangular emerald : and diamond clasp.
