Well, it depends if we are talking about Queen Letizia's or Michelle Bachelet's curves... More seriously, what I mean is that a brooch pinned on the shoulder (and possibly another brooch pinned in the back) is enough to keep the sash in place and prevent it from slipping off the shoulder. Then the weight of the medal suspended at the bottom end of the sash is enough to keep the sash properly positioned along the body curves.
