Like every year, Queen Elizabeth II attended this evening (8 November) the 'Festival of Remembrance' organized by the Royal British Legion at the Royal Albert Hall, London. The Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke of York, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, the Duke of Kent, Prince Michael of Kent and Princess Alexandra of Kent were present, as well as Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife Samantha.

The Queen wore a two-row pearl necklace (but I can not identify which one) and Queen Mary's beautiful 'Town of Richmond' pearl and diamond brooch (unless my files are wrong, it is the first time this brooch is worn since the Indian State Visit to Britain in October 2009). She also wore a pair of pearl and diamond cluster earrings (but I can not recognize if they are from Queen Victoria's Jubilee parure or from Queen Alexandra's wedding parure).
The Duchess of Cornwall wore her diamond snake necklace. I have not identified the other ladies' jewels (the Countess of Wessex and the Duchess of Gloucester look as if they were wearing a small brooch under their poppies).
