I have seen no close-up, but I believe the Countess of Wessex wore a diamond cross in a diamond circle. It is a brooch she has often worn for memorials and remembrance events.
--Previous Message-- : Like every year, Queen Elizabeth II attended : this evening (8 November) the 'Festival of : Remembrance' organized by the Royal British : Legion at the Royal Albert Hall, London. The : Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, the : Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke of York, the : Earl and Countess of Wessex, the Duke and : Duchess of Gloucester, the Duke of Kent, : Prince Michael of Kent and Princess : Alexandra of Kent were present, as well as : Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife : Samantha. : : The Queen wore a two-row pearl necklace (but : I can not identify which one) and Queen : Mary's beautiful 'Town of Richmond' pearl : and diamond brooch (unless my files are : wrong, it is the first time this brooch is : worn since the Indian State Visit to Britain : in October 2009). She also wore a pair of : pearl and diamond cluster earrings (but I : can not recognize if they are from Queen : Victoria's Jubilee parure or from Queen : Alexandra's wedding parure). : The Duchess of Cornwall wore her diamond : snake necklace. I have not identified the : other ladies' jewels (the Countess of Wessex : and the Duchess of Gloucester look as if : they were wearing a small brooch under their : poppies). : : : : : : : : : : : : : : (picture source: Matthew Lloyd/Tim P. : Whitby/Getty Images Europe) : :
