Wonderful photo, Gert-Jan, you captured the Queen' s exuberance. I keep on pondering the necklace and have come to the conclusion I don't really like the presentation, it seems to assert itself too heavily on Maxima... if that is possible! --Previous Message-- : Another photo of Queen Maxima I took yesterday : in Utrecht. : : : : --Previous Message-- : Yesterday (20th November 2014), Queen Maxima : attended the symposium ‘Tradition to : Ambition’ of Dutch Agricultural Youth (NAJK) : in Utrecht. : : She chose to wear a large necklace made of : five overlapping golden (grape?) leaves. : : (Edit: Marianne has already posted a message : about this event on the neighbouring GREMB: : see : : http://members3.boardhost.com/Oranjes/msg/1416571203.html : ). : : More info and pictures on Royalista.com : (whose administrators have unfortunately : suppressed the possibility to download their : pictures ): : : : http://royalista.com/59796/queen-maxima-with-golden-leaves-around-her-neck/ : and on Cotilleando.com: : : : http://www.cotilleando.com/foro/threads/reina-maxima-asiste-al-simposio-najk-en-utrecht.95589/ : : : (Credit: Royal Press Europe, via : Cotilleando.com) : : I think that, as a necklace, these golden : leaves are a bit over the top - very : "maximesque", I would say.
