Thank you for the suggestion Josefine. Would the wikia be restricted to membership as this board is?
The suggestion I have put forward would be for members only to contribute, but open to all to browse and read.
Edit: "members only" means password protected.
Edit: the site I suggest would cater for every known royal and her (his) collection(s) of jewels
Edit: The site I would set up would allow the topics to be organised into one permanent reference source for lists of jewels. For every topic (eg, 3 strand pearl necklaces of Queen Elizabeth II) there would be unlimited scope for discussion and contributions Then the resolved and agreed list would be included, as a resolution of the topic. The topic would never be closed - the discussion would continue, and the "agreed" list would be revised when evidence made that the obvious thing to do. The collected work of everyone particpating would progress towards a valuable conclusion, with pic evidence.
