    Thank you, Aigrette and Alyend, for these pictures of Queen Adelaide of the UK (and of Hanover) and of her jewels. Very interesting to see pictures of what could possibly be her fringe necklace, still part of the Queen's collection.

    Here is one more picture of Queen Adelaide in all her regal glitter. On this one, I can not identify the jewels, unfortunately:

    I do not think that the bracelets worn by Queen Adelaide on this portrait are the ones worn by Queen(-Mother) Elizabeth at her Coronation in 1937. QEQM's bracelets had oval clasps, while we can see above that the bracelets worn by Queen Adelaide had square clasps:

    I think the bracelet clasps worn by Queen Adelaide could be the following, which are still in the Royal Collection:

    The Royal Collection's website mentions that these buckles "possibly belonged to Augusta, Duchess of Cambridge", Queen Adelaide's sister-in-law.
    After her death without children, Queen Adelaide could have bequathed these buckles to her sister-in-law; the buckles would then have found their way back into the Royal Collection through the Duchess of Cambridge's granddaughter, Queen Mary (just speculation from me).

    These buckles were worn as bracelets clasps by Princess Margaret several decades ago:
