Tiara Duchess of Cambridge for Chinese State Visit Archived Message

The Daily Mail has an article on what tiara the Duchess of Cambridge will wear for her first State Banquet during the Chinese State Visit.

The article has the obvious choices:
1 Halo/Scroll tiara (worn for her wedding)
2 Lotus tiara (worn for the diplomatic reception)

But also a few more unlikely ones:
3 Spencer Family tiara (the article even suggests this piece was inherited by William and Harry but to the best of my knowledge it was never owned by Diana so could not be inherited by her sons. If i remember correctly she even handed the loaned piece back to her brother before she died)
4 Cambridge Lover's knot tiara (this piece was given to the Princess of Wales upon her marriage by the Queen. It is not known if it was handed back to HM when the marriage of Charles and Diana ended or if it went to either one of them. Even if it was a her disposal one might question how Catherine would feel wearing this particular piece)
5 Queen Alexandra's Kokoshnik tiara (This tiara belongs to HM the Queen who still wears it herself so an unlikely choice)
6 Girls of Great-Britian tiara (the favourite piece of HM and if we see it at the banquet it will be on HM and not the Duchess of Cambridge)
7 Strathmore Rose tiara (another piece speculated about as a potential wedding tiara for Catherine and not seen for a long time. It would be nice if the Duchess was given this piece and would in time hand it over to princess Charlotte).
