a turquoise and diamond necklace was a gift from the Ladies and Gentlemen of the Queen's Household, while the diamond tiara was a gift from Lady and Gentlemen friends. The top row of the tiara consisted of pear-shaped diamonds, which could be replaced by the turquoises.
