    There were always rumors that queen Beatrix had copies made that were lighter because of her severe headaches.

    I always thought that the tiara she used at her wedding looks quite different than the one she uses later. Maybe that's the reason we didn't see the tiara that much before the wedding of Beatrix. Queen Juliana used the tiara in London in 1950 and after that I can't remember seeing it until the wedding of Beatrix in 1966...
