Contemporary news reports make it clear that the Duke gave Lady Alice two tiaras. Just to highlight The Times wrote on 05 Nov 1935 p21 The Duke of Gloucester has given Lady Alice a diamond tiara in a leaf design with single diamonds on each spike, a diamond brooch with a large square-cut emerald in the centre, a wide diamond bandeau with clustered diamonds [the one we have seen pictures of forever and has the emerald clips that are interchangeable elements with the diamond side pieces/clips], a bow-shaped diamond corsage ornament, a pair of square emerald and diamond earrings set in platinum, two pearl and diamond bracelets, and the 10th Hussars regimental brooch in diamonds.
