Yes Stig, you have a excellent memory. As far as I remember, she also wore it at the wedding og prince Joachim to then Alexandra C. Manley.
Count Ingolfs wife c. Inge was to sick to participate. She died the following summer, and his mother princess Caroline Mathilde only the month after the wedding.
So c. Anne Dorte was wearing her mother inlaw sapphire diadem. She recived it only the year after as a silver wedding gift from her husband. It was part of his inheritance from his mother.

Arthur you are so right about the broches. I mixed them up, pardon.

I'm also very interested in the Rosenborgs and their jewelry. And yes, what ever will the 3 nieces do with all these jewels if they inherent it from their uncle and aunts but to sell them. I do think/believe that they will talk to the main branch of the royal family first about the major pieces before they go on sale. That is if they do...

We still have the other branch of Rosenborgs, I think of count Flemming and c. Ruth jewelry here. We only saw one tiara sold after the passing of c. Ruth. We do see their oldest son count Axel and his wife c. Jutta participates in Royal parties. But it is rare these days that they air the air looms.
