That's interesting. I was only aware of Princess Elisabeth having worn the fringe tiara once. Is there a photo of her at Prince Joachim's wedding?
And the Sapphire tiara was worn for the very first time by Countess Anne Dorte at this wedding? So this means that before this she must have worn her ear of wheat spike tiara at most gala events before that date. Sadly I have not been able to find that many photos of her in this tiara.

: Yes Stig, you have a excellent memory. As
: far as I remember, she also wore it at the
: wedding og prince Joachim to then Alexandra
    : C. Manley.
: Count Ingolfs wife c. Inge was to sick to
: participate. She died the following summer,
: and his mother princess Caroline Mathilde
: only the month after the wedding.
: So c. Anne Dorte was wearing her mother
: inlaw sapphire diadem. She recived it only
: the year after as a silver wedding gift from
: her husband. It was part of his inheritance
    : from his mother.

: Arthur you are so right about the broches. I
    : mixed them up, pardon.

: I'm also very interested in the Rosenborgs
: and their jewelry. And yes, what ever will
: the 3 nieces do with all these jewels if
: they inherent it from their uncle and aunts
: but to sell them. I do think/believe that
: they will talk to the main branch of the
: royal family first about the major pieces
: before they go on sale. That is if they
    : do...
    :
: We still have the other branch of
: Rosenborgs, I think of count Flemming and c.
: Ruth jewelry here. We only saw one tiara
: sold after the passing of c. Ruth. We do see
: their oldest son count Axel and his wife c.
: Jutta participates in Royal parties. But it
: is rare these days that they air the air
    : looms.

: Did you know that Princess Elisabeth has
    : worn
: the fringe tiara too? This photo is from

: (gala at The Royal Theatre).
