I also think it resembles the diamond haircomb tiara of the late Countess of paris. But unfortunatels there are no closups pics of Princess Marie to see the tiara she is wearing better. --Previous Message-- : : I'm not sure it's the duchess of Chartres : diamond comb which has been shortened by the : present Comtesse de Paris : --Previous Message-- : Princess Gundakar of Liechtenstein born : Princess Marie d' Orléans wore the late : Comtesse de Paris's Comb tiars . See PEE : pictures of all the Guests : The Actual Comtesse de Paris wore the tiara : as necklace for her religiuous wedding and : added a Sapphire. : Very Glad to see this tiara worn for the : first time by her eldest Granddaughter : : --Previous Message-- : Marlene has updated her post on the Albanian : royal wedding at the Royal Musings Blog. We : can see a large pic of Furstin Gloria : wearing a diamond tiara (or head : ornament...) new to me. Also GD Maria : Vladimirovna wears what it seems like a new : kokoshnik pearl and aquamarine tiara, very : nice. : I hope some more large pics can be seen of : the ladies wearing their fine jewels. : Also curious on what square earrings the : Duchess of Braganza wore at the wedding (the : brazilian aquamarines? not sure...they seem : too pale in the small pics, the aquamarines : have a more intense blue colour). Didn't see : any pics of the Braganzas at the wedding : dinner, did they left after the ceremony and : not attend the dinner? : : : --Previous Message-- : Thankx for the amazing photos. I'm : Really impressed by the huge amount of : royals. : : Did not expect to see so many royals. There : are : More royals than in a reigning royal : wedding. The Albanian royal family isn't : that frequently seen and are already 77 : years in exile : : : : : : :
