    ... the Norwegian Royal Family welcomed the President of Singapore, Tony Tan Keng Yam and his wife Mary Chee Bee Kiang, for a State visit.

    For the State dinner, Queen Sonja opted for her infamous "Star Trek Tiara", that I recently selected as my worst-ever royal tiara!

    Actually, it is a full parure: with the tiara come matching necklace, earrings and bracelet.

    Crown Princess Mette-Marit did not attend the State dinner. Princess Astrid wore her turquoise and diamond parure (without any tiara?).
    Edit: as illustrated by Malluu in his message below in this thread, Crown Princess Mette-Marit was actually present. And Princess Astrid wore the Vasa tiara.
