Here is my list. I’m not saying all of them have to be on the team at the same time, but it would be interesting to se how this group would work with the alternates I’ve suggested.
1. Wonder Man (I don’t see him as a leader, but he is definitely the backbone of the team)
2. US Agent (He’s being wasted in Canada as the new Guradian's punching bag)
3. Machine Man (As long as he keeps his current look and personality)
4. Hawkeye (not the Young Avenger’s Chick! Ronin is a great Robert Deniro film, not a proper Avenger)
5. Mockingbird (It will have to be explained how she escaped hell and made it onto a space ship if she truly isn’t a Skrull)
6. Songbird (I just want her to be an Avenger already!)
7. Tigra (As long as they don’t pull out the old “Tigra reverts into a wild animal” crap. It’s been done to death at this point)
8. Blazing Skull (He was the best part of the New Invaders and he’s been woefully underused since then)
9. Persuasion, AKA the Purple Girl (A hot purple skinned chick that can mind control anyone except Wonder Man. Think of the possibilities!)
10. The Shroud (He was originally supposed to be Marvel’s answer to Batman in the original Supervillian Team-Up series. Once again a character with great potential that has never been properly used since that series.)
11. Arachne (Julia Carpenter’s best work was on Avengers West Coast. Once again a great character being wasted in Canada)
12. Thundra (Marvels answer to Wonder Woman only with a mean streak a mile wide.)
13. Deadpool (Wade Wilson has been going up and down the redemption ladder for years. I’d love to see him get a shot at the big time at least once. If he fails this time you know it will be spectacular.)
14. Namor (I’ve always loved Namor as an Avenger, but I think he’d gel better with the West Coasters better.)
