In fact, the earliest of the three films, from 1948 and starring Tito Gobbi as both Tonio and Silvio, is also viewable on YouTube - though it can easily be overlooked because it's been titled in Cyrillic script. Here's the link:
A particularly neat feature of the film is that after Canio sings Vesti la giubba he gazes into the mirror and, during the succeeding intermezzo, "sees" a recollection of his past history with Nedda - rescuing her from poverty, showering her with gifts, marrying her, etc. It's an imaginative, very cinematic and effective way to fill the two or three minutes when nothing else is happening on stage.
