Hi Ralph, Yes you are certainly not alone in admiring him. His Rigoletto is one of my favorites even though it is in the wrong languagebut but that's like carping about Wunderlich recording Puccini arias in German. It is still exceptional and stylized singing. It's a small role but his portrayal of Don Ernesto in Bizet's bouffe Don Procopio is still hands down my favorite. After listening to his rendition of Non v'e signor, attempts by other singers just don't measure up. Please keep us abreast of further information/communication of this remarkable artist.
