PS: you mention reading my reviews on Amazon - which have now all been wiped by them without any notice, presumably because I stopped posting new ones there some years ago, transferring my activity to MusicWeb. As is their right, they are interested only in profit but I would have hoped that my several thousand reviews would have at least been useful to them in prompting sales; it would seem not.

Over the last few years my exploration of music has been aided enormously by "stalking" Ralph Moore's reviews - first on Amazon and now here.
So now it's Bruckner's turn and I am more confused than ever!
Mr. Moore, if you ever feel inclined to do a survey of Bruckner recordings you will be assured of at least one avid reader.
