I'm just wondering if such LPs already existed in the 60's and if it is possible that they had one at the time on the then Czechoslovak Radio.
When I presented music programmes for the BBC in the 1980s and 1990s, we were encouraged to use what were called "Radioplay" LPs. Those were recordings of familiar repertoire or, as Nick says, generic atmospheric pieces but my understanding was that they had been commissioned/purchased for a one-off payment and so could be played as often as presenters liked without any royalty payments being due. No doubt many other radio stations had masses of such material, often played by an in-house orchestra. If the piece under discussion was of that type and hence, I imagine, completely off the radar for the likes of the Performing Rights Society or its Czech equivalent, it will, I suspect, be very difficult to identify.
The issue here is that this piece is almost certainly one of the thousands of "library" scores that were written in the 50's and 60's. By definition these were generic "mood" pieces. So they would be given titles that would reflect that mood. This particular piece is so similar to a LOT of others - scurrying descending strings leading to an upbeat march feel theme. It might well be that this theme is included in one of the Guild releases but there are literally dozens if not hundreds to choose from....... (Trevor Duncan wrote extensively for libraries but I think this particular score has a slightly American feel)
This is a short musical excerpt used as the jingle of a music show in the sixties.
