Among the cd listening experiences that would truly have me begging for the Coup de Grace would be the complete (note I said "Complete") works of Palestrina, more than 15 minutes' exposure to Hildegard of Bingen, Ludovico Einaudi - "The Masterworks", and Vocal Gems from the Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals.
Please don't take any medical condition I have seriously...I know I don't. A lot of what I say is done with tongue-in-cheek; I'm not sure where it is when I'm posting comments. As for the biscuits, like Oscar Wilde , I can resist anything but temptation although the temptations at the age of 75 are mainly of the comestible variety.
An aversion to Handel operas is, however, a matter of grave concern to me as an operaphile - but then I note Jeffrey's attachment to Liszt, a composer guaranteed to produce in me acute indigestion, indeed nausea. We are back to de gustibus and "different folks, different strokes"...

"I'm obviously not welcome on the board..."
That is utter nonsense - and had I been aware of your condition I would most certainly have not (even light-heartedly)
made the comment re those biscuits...
As for your aversion to Handel's operas - can't help you there, I'm afraid.
However, as always, I do look forward to your next contribution to the Message Board.
