I'm still interested in this M G Truman. I had alwaus presumed it was a female but I have discovered tonight that Letts's second cousin, Frances Hogan, was married to a Rev. Marcus George Truman (1915) and that they had a daughter Margaret in 1916 (but I also thought Letts's godchild Mrgaret Truman would have been born after 1924). Rev Truman was living in Southampton at the time of his marriage, died in Hastings and is buried in Catsfield.I wondered if the clerical connection or the fact that this M G is male offer any other hint.
