I believe all we know, Barry, is that although Hyperion Records is no longer fully independent in that it was acquired by Universal Music Group in 2023, it continues operate autonomously as a stand-alone label within UMG’s classical music division, with Simon Perry still MD, maintaining its own team and ethos.
