. . . Mr Kreindler does a great service, in my opinion, in helping publicize this unknown, but superb, early symphonic choral work [Psalm 146] by Anton Bruckner.
Somehow, we've had this recording for a fairly long time at our house. I agree that Psalm 146 is a surprisingly accomplished work, but my wife was disappointed by some of the more conventional writing in it. For instance, Bruckner would modulate to a certain key, and she would say to me, "I knew he was going to do that!". ;-)
BTW (although a little off the topic), I'm very thankful for your work on so many 5Ch or 5.1Ch releases, but are you involved (or going to be involved) in any immersive recordings (Dolby Atmos or Auro 3D) now or in the near future? In any case, best of luck!
