Charlotte Sohy

Thank you for reviewing the CD-box with music by Charlotte Sohy. I can add that the Trois Chansons Nostalgiques and the Deux Poèmes have in the meantime been performed in public, on 19 August this year at the Berlioz Festival La Cote Saint André, by the Orchestra national de Lyon under the direction of Debora Waldman with soloist Aude Extremo. I am the Artistic administrator of the orchestra and we feel strongly about restoring forgotten French heritage. We just finished recording another Sohy orchestral work, which proved to be stunning as well. This will be for a forthcoming release on BruZane. One remark: the review refers to Mel Bonis as 'him', she was in fact female and used Mel to hide her real identity (Melanie).

Ronald, I'm glad you approved of the review. Thank you for pointing out the error concerning Mel Bonis: I have corrected that.
We look forward very much to receiving the next Sophy recording for review.

Dear Mr Vermeulen
I would just like to offer my congratulations to whoever was responsible for the design of the CD cover.
So refreshing to see such a worthwhile design, especially when so many companies show a distinct lack of imagination!
I only hope it adds to the sale of this CD box, and my best wishes for your future endeavours.
regards tuxedo
