The End of 40 Years Ago...

So tonight, 40 years ago, ABC aired Bewitched in prime time for the last time with a rerun of episode #242: "Adam, Warlock or Washout" which originally aired on December 29, 1971.

I think it was a fitting end to the series in primetime as we find out that Adam has powers.

Well...at least we still had it on ABC daytime for a couple more years! Plus, it was aired in the afternoon on some Canadian stations it was syndicated to.

We've never really talked about the daytime rerun schedules very much...but I can always provide them through my old TVGuide listings is anyone's interested in what episodes were run and when.

So sorry to see the end of these posts...I really anticipate reading them every week. I still think you should start them again in 2 years as "50 Years Ago..."

I just finished your book and I loved it. I had to re-watch some season eight episodes because of you, and it's a shame that Bill Asher had several affairs on Elizabeth.
