I think that’s exactly it. I read on https://1shayari.in/love-shayari-why-romance-feels-deeper-in-urdu/ that Urdu has this softness in its consonants and vowel patterns, so even simple words sound musical. I once heard a singer perform a romantic ghazal live, and the emotion in their voice hit me way harder than when I later read the English version. The sound plays a huge role.
