I stumbled onto a few Urdu romantic verses last weekend, and honestly, they’ve been stuck in my head since. I don’t speak the language, but I was reading them alongside translations and it still felt like the original lines carried something extra. The rhythm, maybe? Or the way certain sounds linger? Made me wonder if that’s why it feels deeper than in other languages.
