Ortho recommended surgery and a rod. He said I can do all the PT and walking but it's not going to fix the problem. I asked him if losing 50 pounds would and he said that it wouldn't fix anything. He said he would clean up the area and put a rod in. I sent the neurosurgeon I saw last Fall a message to see what he thinks. He said I didn't need surgery then but didn't offer any suggestions.
