My aunt got me something AND a Better Homes and Gardens cookbook, the red and white one. I still have that cookbook and use it frequently, but can't for the life of me remember what the other gift was, so hit her interests or get something to be passed on. I don't know if she likes jewelry, but my daughter loved getting a Pandora bracelet. She just loves picking out or being gifted charms for every milestone in her life. By now, her bracelet is getting pretty full, and she still wears it for special occasions.
A nephew got a new laptop from his parents to take to college, so we got him a nice leather, briefcase-style laptop case. He has been out of college for almost 20 years and has gone through many laptops but is still carrying that leather laptop case.
Another thought is paying for housing for a short trip or tickets to get somewhere she wants to go. Maybe train tickets for a trip across the US or to a specific destination. I love traveling in roometts on a train.
