Dauphin Island, I love that place. Maybe not as much now since a company came in and more than doubled the housing in the last few years. At one time we were looking for a house there because we loved it so much. It didn't have so many houses then. It is still very peaceful. The ferry ride to Fort Morgan is fun too, whether you take your car or just ride over and back, because there is usually some kind of marine life to see on the trip. Once we saw hundreds of huge jellyfish and we have had dolphins and so much more. I really like hiking in the Audubon Bird Sanctuary, especially during the spring migration. Be sure to check out the whole island. It is fast and easy to cover it.
