I had extensions once. They were the clip-in kind, not the sewn-in kind. I had very short hair at the time and was posing for a painting of a woman in approximately the Jane Eyre time with those curly bangs and up-do, so the painter got me extensions to manage that, then gave them to me. I rarely used them, but they were nice to manage growing out hair. They no longer match my hair color. lol
