We took our DIL out for her birthday at lunch today at a Mediterranean restaurant that she likes. We enjoyed the food and the company. It was a restaurant that we had not tried before.

Our SIL had an interview last week at a company he has long wanted to work for. They rarely have turnovers, but they have an opening right up his alley right now. They called him to tell him they want him to come back and talk to the big boss this week. I sure hope he gets it.

The weather has been exceptionally nice for the past few days, and temperatures are expected to be even lower for the next week.

We took everything out of the backyard storage building yesterday and cleaned it well. Looks so good in there. Makes us feel good. We are planning to take all the furniture out of the screened room and scrub down the furniture as well as the room this week. It has been so hot for over two months that we have neglected the outside.

Talked to my cousin today and her mother is doing better. She fell and was in the hospital a few days then in rehab for a week. She is home now and going to PT. Hope she is back to normal soon.
