Some of those concentrators are very noisy. I have seen them on all areas of the spectrum. My mother had one that she only had to use at night, which was so noisy that she would put it in another room, close the door, then close her door to keep it from being so noisy. Finally, it stopped working, and they sent her another one that you can barely even hear right beside it. I hope something can be done to quiet it down some. Maybe try calling the company that brought it and ask them to send a technician to work on it.
