I walked 1.2 miles yesterday. It was too much but I just so wanted to be able to accomplish walking a mile. I had to pause to catch my breath more than I'd wanted and used my cane for just a couple bits. Shorter walk today.

Got my Covid and flu vaccines yesterday. My joints are inflamed some this morning, especially my elbows. I wanted them done I case I really get to go to Spain. Will probably get the RSV as well but, didn't want 3 vaccines at once.

I did multiple things yesterday which has been a goal. I walked, showered, saw a client, met with my nurse, went to the grocery store and went to CVS for my shots. Stamina building!

Nurse is not in favor of discharging me. She said she's not accustomed to discharging someone whose wound hasn't closed all the way. She is going to consult with the neurosurgeon and will let me know what he thinks. Ultimately, it's my decision. It's disappointing but I don't want to take any chances. She did say she would finally get home PT if I'm not discharged.

Autumn

Carin moved into her new, huge house yesterday. She seems happy and says he hasn't shown any controlling behavior. I think she would be honest with me.
