Monday Gratitudes

Had a talk with my husband yesterday about food and movement. Put a chart of a healthy plate on the fridge to remind him. He tends to go overboard on carbs when he prepares meals. I got together a list of sheet pan and bowl recipes that follow the same premise for fast easy meals to make planning easier. The plan is to make a meal plan on Sundays, order any groceries we need on Mondays. We are also going to start taking walks together and dust off the treadmill to use on bad weather days or go to the mall to walk. It is easier when he is working with me than the swimming uphill feeling that I get when he is not. The glorious weather. Yesterday it only got up to 69° and the rest of the week looks much the same. LOVE it! We planted a fig tree 3 years ago. It only a a few figs here and there for two years. This year it is loaded. Never had my own fig tree to bear although I have planted many of them. Laundry is almost finished and we will have freshly washed sheets to sleep on tonight. How much Poppy has added to our lives.
