Since it is Oct 21 and she said November, I imagine Dad will be hearing from them within the week. Then they can give him some idea of the chances of success, we hope. Right now, they can't guestimate. I pray that even if there is a 50/50 chance, Dad will opt for the surgery but ultimately it's his decision. I worry about Paul if Dad dies
