tomato thing every year and it does work! We have such hot summers that we get a good crop early in spring most years, then they boil on the vine through the summer. When it starts cooling down, they put on another good production. I left probably 50 or more salad-sized green ones that would have been nice tomatoes if we didn't get a freeze. We have a fence around them to keep the critters out. I have been wondering today if I put plastic wrap over the fencing like a mini greenhouse, if they would continue to grow. I may try to do it.
