A little back story-My mom used to always make Ken pies. She loved doing it and he loved getting them. Among the different pies she would make him was a custard pie. He loved them and hadn’t had one since before she died in 2007. I decided to make one and looked up the recipe online and bought the ingredients. I then thought how nice it would be to use my moms recipe and looked in a notebook that she had given me with some of her recipes in at and believe it or not the second to the last recipe was for her custard pie! So not only did I make Ken a pie, I made my mom’s pie for him! And here it is:
