My husband got back home today. He has only been gone 4 days, but it seemed like a long time to Poppy and me.

My husband and son got the lakehouse winterized and got the boat out of the water.

We are supposed to close on the new Lake house next Wednesday, and one more person informed us today that they are interested in the other house and were not turned off by the price we suggested. I hope one of these people wants it after they see it. Houses are hard to find on that lake, so fingers crossed.

I fulfilled one of the things on my bucket list tonight. We sat on our front porch and watched the Northern Lights until the cold seeped through our blankets and drove us inside. Always wanted to watch them, but never managed to see them whenever they happened this far south, and they never happened those times I was further north.
