Tuesday Grats Posted by Delta on 11/12/2025, 1:10 am, in reply to "Tuesday Grats?" All the veterans who put their lives on the line for this country. My husband got back home today. He has only been gone 4 days, but it seemed like a long time to Poppy and me. My husband and son got the lakehouse winterized and got the boat out of the water. We are supposed to close on the new Lake house next Wednesday, and one more person informed us today that they are interested in the other house and were not turned off by the price we suggested. I hope one of these people wants it after they see it. Houses are hard to find on that lake, so fingers crossed. I fulfilled one of the things on my bucket list tonight. We sat on our front porch and watched the Northern Lights until the cold seeped through our blankets and drove us inside. Always wanted to watch them, but never managed to see them whenever they happened this far south, and they never happened those times I was further north.

I am sure that the Northern Lights are Posted by Delta on 11/12/2025, 3:58 pm, in reply to "Northern Lights" just a common thing to you. They have always been rather mesmerizing to me when I would see them on TV or in videos. I always wanted to see them. I am sure that we didn't get as big a show as it is further north, but it was nice to finally see them. I hope so on the house, though I am going to miss it. It is so beautiful there, and the moon rises over the lake, making it gorgeous. I liked that the house was sorta rustic and easy to keep clean, though near water is always a bit harder to keep clean. It was a sweet little town, and the people are wonderful there. We couldn't ask for better next-door neighbors; they cared for the house as their own when we were not there, and had the BEST July 4th parties and fireworks on the lake. It was just getting too inconvenient for this time in life, and the other house will be better for us. Not only is it out of the way, but we were waiting for our phone contract to end so we could try to find a carrier that picked up in those hills. We could pick up in certain spots in the house, but nowhere once we went outside or in the whole town.

Love knocking out little projects that I wanted to get done! 4. Having enough. So grateful to have everything we need and more. 5. The friendships we have on this board. Love you ladies!

Just discussing with his wife (partner in the business) 4) no snow or falling iguanas here in New Brunswick - thank God 5) 7 weeks post op today. Time is flying!

I'm dealing with my 'fear of failure' by choosing to fail! Stinking Thinking! Back to PT Thursday. She'll help me with some accountability. This has been such a beautiful Autumn. How we gather around each other with love and support. No problems with leaving my wound uncovered. I've been lathering cream on the surrounding area several times a day. My skin is looking and feeling so much better.

Some years we have 2-3 days of gorgeous fall days and then (at least here) it starts getting cold and winter sets in! I love this weather!! So glad your back is doing better!! Finally! You are doing so much better! So happy! I’m glad you are tracking your food! It will all fall in place. Just keep going!
