Had my appointment with my Gastro that left for a year and is back. I like him so much, and he is one of the top-rated gastros in the south. We had a good talk, and I feel much better. Gotta say that the other guy had me kinda rattled.

Had lunch with our son and his wife, and son after the appointment. Always good to spend time with them.

Being able to talk with our doctors on the patient portal and have them answer by the end of the day. So much better than waiting weeks for an appointment. My husband had a concern about a med this morning. He got on his portal while I was in with the doctor. He already has a solution.

We have already found an electrician who gets rave reviews to bring the lake house up to date electrically. He has already given us a good estimate and will start on Friday.

We have a painter who should be able to start next week. It is so good to find highly rated workers who can squeeze us in. Of course, we know that between November and February are the best times to find subs anyway because most people don't think about doing work in colder weather.
