Every policy I looked at when searching for a new provider paid at least 6 weeks of skilled nursing care if it was called for. But, when I was trying to get Mama in down here, no one wanted to take her from the hospital she was in because it does in-house rehab and they were releasing her. It is a crazy, messed-up system, and sick people should not have to navigate it. We have paid our dues all our working lives, and Veterans have laid their lives on the line, and they treat us like this. Don't get me started. I could stand on my soap box all day.
