1. My brother got home from the hospital on Wednesday evening. His crappy Medicare advantage plan would not cover skilled nursing so they sent him home and he will have a home healthcare nurse, PT, and OT coming out. He also has a home health care worker that comes out 2 times a week to clean and I think she is adding another couple of hours a week so that will help as well.

2. My brother sounded better on the phone last night. I went over Thursday morning from work as he called me and couldn’t get his oxygen hooked up. I was able to fix his breakfast and help him pay some bills when I was there. I was so worried when I left as he seemed so frail. Thankful he sounded more like himself last night.

3. A good Zoom Weight loss meeting this morning. This is different than the meeting I used to go to in person and I really enjoy the conversations we have over Zoom.

4. I got paid today and noticed that my check was larger than usual. Come to find out we got a nice Christmas bonus! Love that!
